I don't get how people can NOT be prepared for weather that is common in their area. It's hard to feel entirely sympathetic when they do stupid things like that.<br /><br />In our area hurricanes are a big issue. I know how to prepare and that if it's gonna be a bad one...you leave when they tell you to pack your crap and get out of town because the damage is likely going to be severe. I have a very hard time feeling bad for those who poo the warnings and stay in their homes at times like that instead of evacuating.
