Crafty Saturday: Shoe Boxes

This project has been in the works for oh... two years? I just finished it because I'm lazy but desperate to cross things off my list.

It's not a super great photo, but for every kid I framed their first pair of shoes and hung it up next to their nine month photos. Every kid had a striped shirt and a ball in their nine month photos so they all match.
Olivia and Jackson's has been up on the wall since they were 10 months old because back then I had life together. I just got Penelope and Lucy's shoe boxes done and it's SUCH an easy project and it makes a cute gift for a new mom.

You just need a wood shadow box, a piece of paper, some paint, and shoes! I have the shoes glued onto the back wall of the box with some E6000 so those suckers aren't going anywhere. Poor Lucy's shoes were only worn once maybe so they are basically brand new. Everyone else's shoes look worn. I guess that kind of displays my abilities as a mom, huh? Interesting.

This is such a cute idea!! I'll have to remember that if I ever have kids. And I like that they all have the "same" 9 month photo.
